Teeny Tiny Farm

Teeny Tiny Farm will be bringing their petting zoo to the library. Come spend some time with a wide variety of miniature farm animals such as a miniature horse, miniature donkey, miniature llama, little goats, sheep, miniature pig, and even a miniature cow!

Author Talk

Rita Mae BrownRita Mae Brown bestselling author of the Sneaky Pie Brown series will present an author talk and book signing at 7 PM on Thursday, October 10th at Christopher Newport University’s David Student Union. This is the thirteenth author event presented by the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium. Free tickets will be available at the library starting September 3rd at 10 AM on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of two tickets per person while supplies last.

It is a blast from the past! The Poquoson High School yearbooks from 1935 through 1977 have been digitized and are available here. Have fun searching for pictures of your family and friends. If you have good condition copies of editions we are missing and would be willing to let us borrow to digitize, contact the library at 868-3060.
