Lions Club Free Vision Screenings

Second Tuesdays    3:00 - 6:00 PM

The Poquoson Lions Club will be providing free visionLions Kidsight screenings at the library for ages 6 months to 6 years old on select Tuesdays of the month. The screening is useful in detecting vision issues for young children so that it does not impede their early learning abilities. The screening device is able to detect risk factors for amblyopia, refractive errors (the need for corrective lenses), and unequal vision.

Souper Bowl

January 11- February 8th, 2025

Food insecurity is no game and is especially hard this year for many local families. Please help the library’s Teen Advisory Board tackle hunger by donating boxed crackers and hearty canned soup, stew, or chili to the Souper Bowl Soup Drive. 



Donations can be placed in the marked bin at the library during business hours January 11th through February 8th. With your help, we can score a touchdown for our local food bank.
