Calling all families of preschoolers from birth to 5 years! The library has partnered with Poquoson Kiwanis Club to help you prepare your youngster to enter kindergarten ready to read. We're relaunching 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten in our Beanstack platform with new incentives and a new look. Register online or download the Beanstack app and begin logging books. After the first 100 books, visit the library to receive a lanyard, brag tag, and a book tote. Continue logging books to earn a brag tag and digital badges for every 100 books. Readers who log 1,000 books will receive a free book and certificate of completion. Reading out loud with your child helps to develop early literacy skills important for school readiness.
